The controversial Mr. Brainwash, Thierry Guetta’s alter ego, made his debut via Exit Through the Gift Shop, a documentary film directed by fellow rogue artist Banksy. Coinciding with the London Olympic Games, Mr. Brainwash took over London’s Old Sorting Office for his latest exhibition featuring murals, installations and stencil-work appropriating iconic pop imagery. In an exclusive interview with Mr. Brainwash, Crane.tv hears about his desire to paint something “where the Queen lives” and why he is “not a product”.
