American Artist Ryan Cronin – now on tour!

Ryan Cronin resides in the countryside outside of NYC. He enjoys his neighbor’s weekend home delivery of the New York Times and he loves to paint. Check out his video interview to find out Ryan’s views on the art world, painting and what drives his creative process.

Artist, Ryan Cronin is coming off of a nice run of shows this summer from Parlor Gallery in Asbury Park, NJ to Gallery 5 in Richmond, VA, to a public art installation in NYC, to NADA (New Art Dealers Alliance) in Hudson, NY and he’s about to pack the crates for three more shows.

First stop is Charleston, SC for a solo show with Scoop Studios Contemporary Art Gallery titled, “3’s a Charm,” opening September 2rd running through October 30th. This will be Cronin’s third solo show with the gallery.

From Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2011, catch Cronin getting down and dirty with Fountain Art Fair in Los Angeles at the 11,000-square-foot Lot 613. “Celebrating its sixth year, Fountain’s matchless platform embraces not only cutting edge independent galleries, but artist collectives, solo artists and performance artists as well. With its fiercely independent, anything can happen mantra, Fountain is a must see destination for critics and collectors alike.”

The last weekend of October, look out for the spaceship because it is going to land at the Voo Doo festival! The Voo Doo festival is an music an art festival which draws in over 90,000 people.

In December, the 1st-4th, find Cronin at the Kohn Compound during Art Basel. Cronin, along with artist and curator Scott Debus and artists Patch Whiskey and John Pundt, will be creating a large-scale installation within the compound. The Kohn Compound is located in the heart of the Wynwood District and boast over 30,000 square feet of secure outdoor art and event space.
