Artist Statement

Arnaud Chevalier is a French designer, painter, and interior decorator. His influences are mostly french XVIII° century. All of his creations carry the finest luxurious spirit possible. His black on black paintings, made with a golden paste, thrust his viewing audience into a timeless world of elegance and the lost memories of a brilliant past when the kingdom of France was leading artistic creation worldwide.

Arnaud believes that our heritage and past are our real wealth, thus he strives for an historical approach towards his art. That is the reason why, in a world where uncluttered, minimalist designs are everywhere, Arnaud returns to the purest classical beauty within his contemporary creations.

Commissioned by the “Emaux de Longwy” earthenware factory he has designed their new collection – exhibited at the Salon Maison & Objet in Paris in January 2011- which was met with immediate praise.

When he is not painting exhibiting, designing work for manufacturers, interior decorating and designing jewerly for his exclusive clients, Arnaud works as a consultant to many cultural organisations and teaches art and architecture courses.

His aim is to bring luxury and well-being everywhere. His philosophy is to treat every client as if they are the only client in the world by providing them the best possible presentation and professionalism and all time needed in order to achieve the most stunning results.

Creation has no limit. Arnaud Chevalier can create beauty everywhere.
